Working on this project was my first experience creating art within a corporate environment, which brought a new and unfamiliar level of professional pressure. However, I was granted complete creative freedom to design a piece that complemented the unique atmosphere of "The Snug"—a cosy, quiet retreat nestled within a busy professional dance company.

When working with stencils, the preparation phase takes significantly longer than the actual application. Because of this, I spent a lot of time refining the layout beforehand. I took a design I had previously used in my own home and simplified it, tailoring the scale and complexity to perfectly fit this narrower commercial space.
